Mega bloks train set12/31/2023 ![]() ![]() Toy Reviews By Dad is owned and operated by Dayton Publishing, LLC, a limited liability company based out of the Midwest. ***Links in the pictures and text of these articles lead to Amazon, eBay, or other affiliate sites unless otherwise noted.*** These articles are based on our personal experiences and opinions, so we hope you enjoy! NECESSARY LEGAL DISCLAIMER This isn't just about great toys for all our kids, but for taking a look at toys for those of us parents who remain children at heart.and we might even get Uncle Shane to show up once in a while. There's nothing wrong with being a kid at heart, and there's something great about seeing the kids' little eyes light up and remembering that excitement from a new toy or when you agree to play with them. They were a great toy for a number of years and served their purpose well! Plus they lasted the entire time without being broken – which is saying something! They do get brought out of the toy box from time to time when the children are building big cities – but otherwise they aren’t a big deal anymore.Īnd that is perfectly okay. This toy has gone exactly as we thought it would! It was very popular for a while, got incorporated into some other Mega Bloks Toys, got passed on to a younger brother, and eventually faded away…only to be replaced smaller, more painful on the feet LEGOs. It scores a 1 out of 10 on our scale – I just can’t get annoyed at this one. They can design their own train however they want, and they can use the pieces to build really impressive towers with other Mega Bloks. It also helps encourage children to use their imagination. Otherwise this is a toy that kids can play with independently. Maybe someday we will be able to teach our kid’s to put there toys back when they are done. The only thing we hate as parents is stepping on these blocks in the middle of the night. There is almost nothing annoying about this toy. Overall, my son has really enjoyed this toy, and if you own other Mega Bloks, just expect this set to become incorporated with the others. However, this also allows him to build bigger train sets, or use the train pieces to build huge towers! My son has combined this train set with the other mega bloks he owns, so it is difficult to see where one set starts and the other ends. When moving fast, the three moving wheelbase pieces will disconnect, causing some frustration. As long as the blocks aren’t stacked really high, the train moves pretty well. As a parent, the biggest draw to this toy is that it gives your child the ability to use their imagination and create a train that looks however they want. There are a few other decorative pieces that can be placed on the blocks. There are also engine pieces and smoke stack pieces so you can really make it look like a train. They help mark these blocks as part of the train set, but also can help teach your child to count. ![]() There is two sets of 0-9 stickers which are placed on the smaller pieces. If (document.Stickers are also included in the set. They stack up high without falling too- we couldn't be more pleased with the giggles and playtime fun!Ĭe train est vraiment chouette, avec de très belle couleur, de gros lego à emboîter, éducatif et ludique tout y est. ![]() ![]() The blocks are also interchangeable with other Mega Blok toys. The blocks are easily manipulated with little fingers and they easily attach and detach without sticking. The interactive learning blocks reinforce her understanding of letters, but in imaginative play which keeps her entertained for hours! This is so helpful as we are preparing our daughter for pre-school. Fischer-Price delivers on both with the ABC Musical Train. My daughter loves to build with blocks, and I love toys that are educational. When I pick her toys up at night, she hides her blocks under the rugs and in her crib, because she just loves playing with this Toy. My daughter received this on Christmas ( 11 months old) This toy is in her top 10 mosted played with toy. Any way you guys can send me those two letters? Kinda hard to teach ABC’s without missing letters. I bought this for my daughter at Barnes and nobles and it was missing the letter “I” and the letter “L”. I bought this for my 15 month old grand daughter, unfortunately missing a blue wheel for the set. ![]()
